Care instructions:
Carpet storage:
Roll the mat into a tight roll – top side of the mat facing out (this way your mat will always lie straight and flat during your workout)
Carpet installation:
The carpet will only get better with use, but if it seems slippery to you at first, spread coarse salt on the carpet and rub it with a damp sponge, then let it dry, preferably in the sun.
Carpet cleaning:
The best way to take care of your mat is to wipe it down after each use. We recommend using Manduka's own mat cleaner, which disinfects and freshens the mat, but also cares for the surface of the mat. You can also use any other general purpose cleaner to clean the mat, always wash the mat with a soft damp sponge, rinse well and hang to dry - preferably in the sun. NEVER wash the mat in a washing machine, its weight may break your machine!
