Customer returns

Returning is easy and the return period is 14 days. By familiarizing yourself with these instructions, you are assured of your rights when placing an order and making returns is easy and quick for both you and us. These conditions are valid in the TREENIKAMAT.fi online store and apply to consumer customers.

Return time and notification of return

The customer of the TREENIKAMAT.fi online store has a 14-day right of return for the products he ordered. When canceling his purchase, the customer must notify him within the return period. Notification of a returned product can be made by e-mail to the address kaspalveluskapalva[at]trainikamat.fi.

If the last day of the cancellation period is a weekend or a holiday, the cancellation notification can still be made on the first business day. There is no need to provide reasons for using the right of cancellation. The customer has the right to notify of cancellation even before the goods are delivered.

The return time is calculated from the receipt of the goods or the last batch of goods. If it is a regularly delivered item, the cancellation period is calculated from the receipt of the first batch of goods.

However, simply returning the goods or not picking them up from the post office is not enough - we ask that you inform us of the incoming return and pick up the arrived order in time. A one-time compensation of €20 can be charged for an order that was not picked up and returned to the warehouse.

The purpose of compensation is to cover the costs incurred for processing, packing, sending and returning the order. The returned order can be sent again if the customer does not want to cancel the order completely. New shipping costs will be charged for resending an order that was not picked up.

Posti and Matkahuolto keep the products for seven days, after which the order is automatically returned to the sender. An order that has arrived for pickup will receive a pickup notification by email and a text message twice before it is returned to the sender.

Getting to know the goods

The customer must keep the goods he received essentially unchanged and undiminished, so that he has the right to receive a full refund of the amount he paid in the event of a cancellation. The customer can open or unpack the package without losing the right of withdrawal to check the product's features and functionality. If the customer uses the product, he is responsible for the decrease in the value of the goods. If the product has become unsaleable when the customer gets to know the product, TREENIKAMAT.fi can refuse to refund the amount paid by the customer for the product.

Order return

The products you ordered have a 14-day free return right. Return the products in unused and salable condition as you received the product.

1. Fill out the customer return form

The form can be found by clicking here . It is not necessary to print the form, but the information requested in it can be included in the return, e.g. handwritten. The most important thing is that the information comes with the return - it makes processing the return much easier.

2. Package the shipment carefully

If possible, use the same packaging in which you received the order. Close the package carefully. The package does not have to be beautiful, as long as it provides the necessary protection for the products during transport.

4. Take the package to Posti*

Take the package to a Posti office and show the clerk our Posti contract number. You can return the shipment to the pick-up point machine using a pick-up code. The customer is responsible for the return costs of an order returned using services other than Posti. Returning the package to a Posti point is free of charge.

5. Keep the receipt for the return**

You can see the return tracking code on the receipt and you can track the package to our warehouse. A tracking code is needed in those extremely rare situations where the return is not returned to us correctly.

*The customer can leave the returned product for Posti to transport. Upon request, the returner will receive a receipt from Posti for leaving the shipment for transport. If the customer delivers the return somehow other than mentioned above, TREENIKAMAT.fi does not take responsibility for the costs caused by the return, unless otherwise agreed.

**If the customer cancels the transaction, the goods must be returned no later than 30 days after the notification of cancellation. It is the customer's responsibility, if necessary, to prove that the goods have been returned within the deadline. If the return cannot be proven with, for example, the tracking code of the return, we are not responsible for lost, returned orders - the sender is always responsible for the shipments.

***We will refund the value of the returned products, the shipping cost will not be refunded.

The right of return does not apply

  • sealed goods that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons after opening the package
  • goods manufactured or modified in accordance with the consumer's requirements or clearly made to meet personal needs
  • perishable or out-of-date products, or due to their nature, products that are inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery

For example, such products include supplements, vitamins and other foodstuffs as well as intimate products such as respirators and socks and liquid products such as detergents and oils.

Changing the product

To make the return process smoother, we have stopped making product exchanges in stock. If you want to exchange the product for another, you can place a new order for another product in the online store and return the original order. This way you get the products quickly without having to wait for the return to arrive at the warehouse or to provide additional information for the return. The returned product is processed normally after it arrives at the warehouse.

Processing time and return refund

We process returns that have arrived at the warehouse as soon as possible, but within 14 days at the latest. We will also refund the payment received from the customer, excluding the shipping cost, as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after receiving the returned shipment.

The refund of the order is always made to the payment method used in the order. Only in the event that the refund to the used payment method is not possible for some reason, the refund can be made to the account indicated by the customer. For this, we ask for an account number to which the refund can be paid. Otherwise, we never ask for our customers' account numbers or other bank information.

Alternatively, the customer can be offered a refund with, for example, a gift card or a product of similar value, in which case the customer has the option to accept the offered option or refuse completely and receive a payment refund.
