Vivid Zest is a real yoga mat all-rounder.
The 4 mm thick mat works great for most yoga practices, as it provides adequate padding under the knees and hands, but at the same time enough support from the ground to make it easy to stay upright.
The 4 mm thick mat is light and easy to transport between home and studio. The "sticky" texture of the surface gives the carpet more grip, so it doesn't slip under your hands and feet or against the floor. As a material, PVC is really durable, so the mat works great in dynamic exercises, such as flow yoga or astanga. The material does not contain any latex or harmful phthalates. The mat has a manufacturer's lifetime warranty.
Manufacturer's Care Instructions: Yoga mats may release a strong but harmless odor when they are first opened from the package. Ventilate the carpet 2-3 days before use. Spot cleaning with Gaiam's own yoga mat wash or a damp cloth, cold water and a mild detergent. Avoid rubbing to prevent color spread. Allow to dry properly before rolling. The carpet can fade and become brittle if it is exposed to sunlight for long periods of time. We recommend storing the mat in a yoga mat bag when not in use.
