Preservation
Roll the Mandukan PROlite yoga mat so that the surface side (the more finished side) of the mat is facing out. This will help keep the corners of the mat down during your workouts.

The surface of Mandukan's PROlite yoga mats improves with use. According to users' experiences, the best way to use a yoga mat is to use it daily. Another way is to sprinkle coarse sea salt on the carpet, add a little water and then brush with a stiff brush. The carpet should be left to air dry in the sun.
Purifying
We recommend Manduka's own yoga mat cleaner for cleaning. Clean the carpet with a damp towel or sponge. Hang to dry in the sun. Do not clean the carpet with a garden hose, do not immerse it in water, put it in the washing machine or use a vacuum cleaner - it can break your machine and damage the carpet!
