The aerial acrobatics stand is suitable for aerial yoga, canvas acrobatics and ring trapeze.
Installing various fixtures and fittings at home can be very expensive or inconvenient, and may not even be possible. It is not safe to attach a hook to the ceiling without making sure it will hold for use with an aerial yoga mat or gymnastic rings. This Aerial Yoga Rig is designed to solve that problem for you. The adjustable stand is suitable for most homes and yards.
Adjustable and portable
The size of the base of the A stand is approximately 2.0 m x 2.6 m. At the highest setting, the stand rises to a height of up to 2.9 m.
The height of the stand can be adjusted to a minimum of about 200 cm, which is low enough to fit in any house. At this height, its base is approx. 1.8 mx 1.7 m. The upper beam (bridge) is about 100 cm wide and about 80 cm between the legs.
Installation is easy for one person and takes about 10 minutes. However, we recommend two people, which makes it even easier, faster and safer.
The maximum length of the parts is about 105 cm. This means it fits easily in any car and takes up little space when not in use. Total weight 38 kg.
Strong and sturdy
The rack is designed specifically for aerial yoga without any compromises in safety or strength. Each side tube is 45 mm diameter / 1.8 mm thick steel, which are connected to each other by twisting. The threaded joints help to increase the strength and stability of the stand.
The upper beam (bridge part) is made of an incredibly strong 50 mm diameter and 3 mm thick seamless steel tube. Additional support is provided by 5.5 mm thick steel plates, which are welded to the bridge section. We recommend using two nylon straps for hanging.
It's hard to find a better or better looking aerobatic stand than this one!
The strength classification granted to the stand is also in a class of its own, the WLL (Working Load Limit) is 138 kg (FOS 5: 1), which is based on static tensile strength and load tests. Tested in the UK by an independent testing facility. The tests are conducted by Nebosh and Tech-IOSH.
Use
The rack is designed and intended with portability and aerial yoga in mind. Due to the relatively small surface area, doing acrobatic exercises that require a lot of lateral space can lead to you hitting your feet on the stand.
