Extend the life of your leather shoes with Grangers wax
Leather shoes often get a lot of wear and tear on hikes and trips. However, if cared for regularly, they will last well for years. Grangers leather conditioner is designed to protect footwear from dirt and moisture, keeping them usable for longer.
The conditioner is also suitable for use on film-coated leather surfaces, such as Gore-Tex footwear and eVent materials. The wax creates a surface that repels water and dirt in the footwear, while maintaining their breathability.
A conditioner with a soft texture is easier to dose and apply than traditional jar wax. A very sufficient product. Grangers leather conditioner is an environmentally friendly, water-based choice.
Use:
- Clean the leather surface carefully from dust and dirt, and let it dry properly
- Apply a thin layer of conditioner to the surface with a clean cloth or your fingertip and let it absorb for a while
- If you wish, you can polish the surface with a lint-free cloth or a polishing brush
- To achieve the best result, repeat the treatment 2-3 times so that the surface can dry properly between treatments
- If you want to improve the waterproofness of the footwear, you can finish the treatment with Grangers Footwear Repel spray (sold separately).
