Description
Altai Hok is a wide and short ski with a fixed grip on the bottom. Durable and sturdy Pivot bandage that works with most shoe models.
Altai Hok sliding snowshoes
Sliding snowshoeing is similar to skiing with hunting skis, but thanks to the short model, they are more agile in dense forest and hilly terrain. These skis are particularly nimble in small, bumpy and densely vegetated terrain, but they also work very well in the open. The sliding boot is wide enough to support the skier well over the head. The heel of the ski curves upwards, so it doesn't sink into the project and reversing and turning is easier. It is easy to control a ski with a tapering neck. The bottom of the ski has a fixed grip, so the step doesn't slip backwards even on uphills.
The nimble Altai Hok sliding snowshoes are easier to control on downhills than traditional long skis. The good grip of the ski moderates speed appropriately, but does not prevent sliding. The sliding snow boots also have the same steel edges as traditional downhill skis. For this reason, they keep their direction well even on an icy slope. Altai Hok skis work best together with Pivot bindings, which are pre-installed.
Pivot bindings
Pivot binding has a hinge structure. The bandage is compatible with most shoes, such as hiking boots, rubber boots or winter sneakers. The binding is sturdy, and the flexplate pivot joint as its base and the sprung heel part enable skiing with all footwear. The fastening system is also suitable for all footwear and supports the foot very well. The bandage is easy to adjust. Pivot bandage is suitable for shoe sizes 35 - 47.5. You don't need tools to adjust the length of the tie.
Selection of snowshoes:
The sliding shoe is available in different lengths. A shorter ski is more agile and is well suited for denser forest or bumpy terrain. As the length shortens, however, the skiability of the ski decreases, i.e. the longer the ski, the more skiable it is. As the length and width of the ski increases, the carrying capacity of the ski also improves. When choosing the size of your ski, take into account the terrain where you will mainly use the ski and the purpose of the sliding snowshoes. In addition to this, you should consider the size of the user, as the length of the ski also affects the load capacity.
