Leather, barefoot shoes designed for hiking with a higher shaft, a textured sole and a waterproof surface.

Ibex barefoot shoes are designed for demanding and quality-conscious hikers. The surface of the shoe is made of high-quality leather, which has been treated to make it waterproof and breathable. Water resistance has also been taken into account in the seams and lacing, so the feet stay dry in all conditions.

The shoe has a textured, rubber Hill Grip outsole that offers unbeatable grip on wet and slippery surfaces. Please note that the Hill Grip base is a so-called softer than a normal sole and may therefore wear out faster if the shoes are mainly used on asphalt or other hard and rough surfaces.

The Ibex model has a wide last and a flexible structure as usual for barefoot shoes. No rise under the heel or instep. The shoe has a removable insole (2.5 mm), so you can choose whether you want more or less shock absorption under your steps. The thickness of the sole with the insole is about 10.5 mm and without the insole 8 mm.

Manufacturer's care instructions : Hand wash with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Air drying. Do not expose leather shoes to heat. Shoes can be maintained by treating them regularly with a gentle, water-based conditioner designed for leather. This helps keep the surface of the shoe flexible and strengthens the waterproofing.

Note that the last of the shoe is wide, so its actual width is a few mm larger than the stated "flat measurement". Most users prefer a size that leaves 4-5 mm of free space for the toes. See the instructions for measuring the foot in the product images.
