Description
The cap of this rug is sustainably produced in Portugal. The cap has a natural anti-slip effect. For example, you never have to use a towel on the carpet and worry about slipping. When wet, the mat almost glues the yoga session to itself, so the grip only improves! Cork is an organic, renewable material that does not require cutting down trees to produce it.
A cork yoga mat is a great choice for, for example, Hot yoga, stretching, muscle fitness and Pilates training. The cap itself as a surface is soft, warm and skin-friendly. Exercising on it feels pleasant.
The base is made of Ethylene Propylene Diene Rubber (EPDM), which provides good shock absorption, with unique heat (up to 150 °C), ozone and weather resistance, as well as good cold flexibility. EPDM also has excellent insulating properties.
Weighing around 400 grams, the cork yoga mat is light to carry, and thus also suitable as a travel mat. Try it and you won't want to go back to a regular yoga mat again!

Operation and maintenance:
With a little extra care, the Korkkimatto will last for years:
- Always roll the Cork Mat with the cork facing out to avoid cracks.
- Do not leave the yoga mat in the car or in hot places for long periods of time.
- After a sweaty workout, let the yoga mat dry before storing it. Do not roll the yoga mat unless it is completely dry.
- Please note that natural rubber can smell and we recommend airing the yoga mat from time to time.
Cleaning the carpet:
- Rinse both sides with water. Feel free to use a few drops of mild soap or carpet cleaner.
- Allow the carpet to dry completely. You can hang it over a chair or place it on the floor.
