The Kuuva 6.1 has an outsole with "lugs" for better grip and provides excellent stability on any surface, such as wet paths, long trees, etc. The 2.5 mm thickness of the outsole provides flexibility and off-road feel, while the 4 mm: n "ears" provide excellent grip.
