A single pole with a fair-sized soma is excellently suited for moving in snowy conditions. The Somma has sufficient load-bearing capacity even in dead snow and on soft snow. The poles make snowshoeing more efficient and make it easier to stay upright in the immersing wind. Snowshoe poles have a large tip so that the pole does not sink deep into the snow. The aluminum rod is light and durable. The sharp and durable metal tip helps you move forward even on icy surfaces. The length of the poles can be adjusted between 90 and 150 cm, so they are suitable for a wide range of users and for all conditions. In soft snow, you need slightly longer poles than in hard packed snow. The following formula can be used as a general rule for choosing snowshoe poles: user's height minus 50cm.
By adjusting the length, you adjust the poles to the right length for each user. It also enables the pole to be adapted to skiing, snowshoeing or pole walking as needed.
