Most Pilates mat classes use a soft ball to make the exercise easier or to make the exercise more challenging. Use this soft pilates ball under your lower back for support or between your knees, ankles or hands as you move. Ideal for pelvic floor exercises. The ball enhances Pilates training and helps develop strength, endurance and focus, as well as promoting relaxation and coordination.
The ball does not slip and offers excellent grip. The right size of pilates ball is a matter of personal preference, but many people buy more than one size to have more choice in their training. Pilates balls come in three sizes 18, 23 and 30cm and it is not unusual to get them together for versatility.
These soft Pilates balls are perfect for Pilates studios and instructor use as they are commercial grade and non-exploding. If the ball were to burst, it would not explode, but would deflate slowly.
