Sparks of up to 3000°C make fire-making easy even in wet weather. If necessary, bright sparks can also be used to give an emergency signal. The Kupilka tulus comes with a handy scratching iron, which stays in place with the help of an ethically produced reindeer skin strap. The handle part of the tulustik is made of durable Kareline® natural fiber composite, which provides a good grip. It can be used even with gloves on. This fire-making tool belongs to every adventurer's must-have equipment!
Tulus has been designed in cooperation with Karu Survival, the leading company in Eastern Finland specializing in the teaching of wilderness and survival skills. Made in Finland from European ferrocerium. Scrap iron is created as a byproduct of the metal industry.

KUPILKA MATERIALS
Kareline® natural fiber composite: the reinforcing material is environmentally friendly pine pulp fiber and the binder is polypropylene approved for food use. (Mixture ratio 50% pine pulp fiber and 50% thermoplastic.) Products from this material patina beautifully without losing their quality. Kareline® natural fiber composite originated in the wood technology center Puugia in Joensuu.
