Barefoot shoes - Freet - Tundra, hiking shoes

Tundra is a versatile barefoot shoe, which is suitable for everyday use as well as for more demanding hikes.

The surface of this weather-resistant shoe is made of microfiber fabric, which resembles leather in its properties, but repels water better and dries much faster. Water resistance has also been taken into account in the seams and lacing, so the feet stay dry in all conditions.

The outer sole of the shoe is slightly different from Freet's previous models, being even more grippy on wet and slippery surfaces. For this reason, Tundra shoes are particularly suitable for challenging hiking trails. Please note that the Hill Grip base is a so-called softer than a normal sole and may therefore wear out faster if the shoes are mainly used on asphalt or other hard and rough surfaces.

The Tundra model has a wide last and a flexible structure as usual for barefoot shoes. No rise under the heel or instep. The shoe has a removable ConnectComfort insole (2.5 mm), so you can choose whether you want more or less shock absorption under your steps. The thickness of the sole with the insole is about 10.5 mm and without the insole 8 mm.

Manufacturer's care instructions : Hand wash with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Air drying. Do not expose the shoes to heat. Shoes can be maintained by treating them regularly with a gentle, water-based textile care agent. This helps keep the surface of the shoe clean and improves waterproofing.

Note that the last of the shoe is wide, so its actual width is a few mm larger than the stated "flat measurement". Most users prefer a size that leaves 4-5 mm of free space for the toes. See the instructions for measuring the foot in the product images.
