Preservation
Roll the yoga mat with the surface side (the more finished side) of the mat facing out. This will help keep the corners of the mat down during your workouts.
Purifying
For cleaning, we recommend Manduka's own yoga mat cleaner or any non-solvent cleaner you can find at home, spread on a damp towel or sponge. Hang to dry in the sun. Do not clean the carpet with a garden hose, do not immerse it in water, put it in the washing machine or use a vacuum cleaner - it can break your machine and damage the carpet!
