Yerba Santa, Holy Herb, Native American Balm. Known by many names, this plant has been used for various healing purposes for hundreds of years. Today, the Holy Herb is smoked for spiritual reasons – it attracts love, positivity and clarity into your life. It also releases the heart chakra from stored pain and suffering.
The smell of Yerba Santa is similar to the smell of hemp, it is bittersweet and slightly medicinal.
Use:
Burn incense as a bouquet, individual leaves or broken pieces. (Always burn incense on a non-flammable base, in our selection you can also find bases designed for burning incense). If you burn incense as a bundle, light only the top part of the bundle, and after a while blow to extinguish, leaving the bundle smoking. The formation of smoke can be accelerated by blowing a little air into the incense bundle. Please note that incense sticks produce significantly more smoke than incense sticks and burn for a long time. You can extinguish the bundle by "tumbling" it against a non-combustible surface.
To cleanse yourself, direct the smoke in your direction, towards your heart and over your head. After this, you can go around your house with the incense, cleaning it as well.
