Sometimes the aerial yoga fabric can be electric, which is perfectly normal. The electricity is caused by the material of the fabric, nylon, and the dry air, especially in winter. Electricity can seem unpleasant to many, and the dry winter air can even cause disturbingly strong electricity in the fabric. Fortunately, however, electricity can be reduced - the most important thing is to remove dryness, either from the air, the fabric or yourself. Here's how it works:
1. Wetting the fabric: you need a spray bottle, water and detergent. Add a drop of washing-up liquid and water to the spray bottle. Mix well and spray from a distance on the fabric before training - not wet, but to increase the moisture of the fabric before training. Even a couple of sprays can be enough, depending on the dryness of the air.
2. You can buy ready-made antistatic spray from the store, which can be used to remove electricity from textiles. The same substance can also be used for other home textiles.
3. When washing, fabric softener reduces electricity in use.
4. Before training, rub a little moisturizer into your skin. A light moistening is enough, you don't need to put a lot so that the fabric doesn't get greasy and you save with fewer washings.
5. Before training, the electricity of the aerial yoga fabric can be discharged by pulling the fabric along, for example, a metal hanger or other metal object. Be careful not to use sharp objects to avoid damaging the fabric.
Small actions that have a big impact on how you enjoy your workout. Happy training!
