KUPILKA participates in Moomin Characters' #MEIDÄNMERI campaign to improve the situation in the Baltic Sea. The campaign has been launched in 2020, the Moomin's jubilee year, when 75 years have passed since Tove Jansson's first Moomin story was published. The goal of the campaign implemented in cooperation with the John Nurminen Foundation is to increase awareness of the state of the Baltic Sea and to raise one million euros for the work of the John Nurminen Foundation to protect the sea and its heritage. The campaign continues until the end of summer 2021.
KUPILKA donates #MEIDÄNMERI from the sale of its products to a campaign promoting the protection of the Baltic Sea. The campaign products are #MEIDÄNMERI Kupilka 21 Moomin logo drinking containers.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
The ecological Kupilka dishes can withstand both boiling water and -30°C frost. The dishes can be washed by hand in nature or in the dishwasher when returning home. The products are made from biomaterial with EKOenergia, and they patina beautifully without losing their quality. You can test the freshness of the cup by the smell of the wood - the stronger the smell, the newer the product! In order for Kupilka to last as long as possible, we do not recommend putting the product in the microwave, stove or open fire. At the end of the life cycle, the product can be recycled, burned for thermal energy or returned to the manufacturer for reuse. Kupilka packaging is recycled cardboard.
KUPILKA MATERIALS
Kareline® natural fiber composite: the reinforcing material is environmentally friendly pine pulp fiber and the binder is polypropylene approved for food use. (Mixture ratio 50% pine pulp fiber and 50% thermoplastic.) Products from this material patina beautifully without losing their quality. Kareline® natural fiber composite originated in the wood technology center Puugia in Joensuu.
